HISTORY
Dr. Enrico Malatesta launched SCIPlasma Ltd. (now SCI Automation Pte. Ltd.) in January 2000 in Milan, Italy.
The first years were busy creating the first plasma cleaning models and servicing mainly the Italian market.
In 2004 SCI won the first opportunity to supply a significant number of systems to a major European semiconductor company. Our model Quadrio was born.
Soon after, the success of the Quadrio migrated to Asian semiconductor customers which pushed SCI to move to Singapore where the current headquarters are located. Ever since SCI has been a successful manufacturer of Plasma cleaning and etching equipment with hundreds of installations.
Today, the Quadrio α model, together with the QML family of inline plasma systems and our family of batch systems are just a glimpse of what SCI can offer.
